Air Decontamination Technology by Airdri
AerVi and PowerDRI deliver proven air decontamination technology for occupied spaces: continuous, always-on protection built on validated science with documented performance records. Here is how they work.
The Science
Continuous Protection. Two Technologies. One System.
AerVi uses photocatalytic oxidation to generate hydroxyl radicals around the clock. UV light strikes a titanium dioxide catalyst inside the unit, producing hydroxyl radicals from the water vapor already present in room air. Those radicals break down viruses, bacteria, allergens, and VOCs at the molecular level, continuously, without downtime.
PowerDRI completes the picture at the washroom sink, where airborne particle concentration peaks after handwashing. H13 HEPA filtration captures what other dryers blow back into the air.
Together, these two Airdri technologies provide continuous, always-on environmental protection for occupied spaces.
Photocatalytic Oxidation
UV light strikes a TiO2 catalyst, generating hydroxyl radicals from room humidity. Continuous. 24/7. No refills.
H13 HEPA Filtration
Hospital-grade particle capture at the sink, where aerosol concentration is highest. 10-second dry time.

AerVi
Wall-mounted, always on. AerVi generates hydroxyl radicals 24/7 through photocatalytic oxidation, reducing airborne and surface contaminants in occupied spaces without downtime.
PowerDRI Hand Dryer
A compact, ultra energy-efficient hand dryer with a built-in H13 HEPA filter. Captures airborne particles at the sink, exactly where post-handwashing aerosols are most concentrated.

Get in Touch
Wall-mounted continuous air decontamination for occupied spaces. AerVi works 24/7 to reduce airborne and surface bio-burden without disrupting the people in the room.
How AerVi Works
AerVi uses Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO): UV light strikes a titanium dioxide (TiO2) catalytic plate inside the reactor chamber. The reaction generates hydroxyl radicals from the water vapor already present in the room air. Those radicals break down viruses, bacteria, allergens, and volatile organic compounds at the molecular level.
Because AerVi generates its active agent continuously from ambient humidity, it does not require refilling, cartridges, or a scheduled service call to stay active. Once installed, it runs around the clock and the only scheduled maintenance is a bi-annual bulb change.
Why This Matters
SteraMist clears a space in a single treatment. AerVi keeps it that way. The two technologies are designed to complement each other: remediation followed by continuous protection.

Key Benefits
Safe While Occupied
Designed to operate while people are present. No evacuation, no downtime, no room blocking required. Continuous protection without disrupting daily operations.
Reduces Odors and Allergens
PCO breaks down airborne allergens, particulates, and odor-causing compounds continuously, not just during a cleaning cycle.
Minimal Maintenance
Bi-annual bulb replacement is all that's required. Simple wall-mounted installation fits any room. Backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
Clinically Validated
Supported by clinical InSitu validation and ongoing scientific testing. Aligns with ASHRAE IAQ frameworks and OSHA indoor air quality principles.

A compact, ultra energy-efficient blade hand dryer with a built-in H13 HEPA filter. Designed for the one spot in every facility where aerosol concentration peaks: right next to the sink.
Why the Washroom Matters
Hand washing is widely recommended as the most effective way to reduce the spread of illness. But the act of washing and drying hands generates aerosols and disturbs surface particles. A standard washroom with no filtration lets those particles circulate freely.
PowerDRI addresses this at the source. Its H13 HEPA filter captures airborne particles, including those produced during hand drying, before they can recirculate into the room. H13 is the same filtration grade used in hospital operating suites and cleanrooms.
Designed to Last
At roughly $20 per year in energy costs, PowerDRI is significantly cheaper to operate than paper towels and most competing dryers. The 7-year warranty reflects the durability of the unit.
